This house was designed for a working couple with an intense interest in environmental sustainability. The house is totally independent of grid electricity, water and sewerage systems. It incorporates rammed earth and insulated panel walls, ritek insulated roofing, timber floors, photovoltaic array and battery bank for electricity generation, biolytix sewerage treatment system, water storage tanks and heat exchange hot water system. This house was a finalist in the 2006 Master Builders Awards.
