PRINCIPAL ARCHITECTS & DESIGNERS:
Michael Lake has been a registered architect since 1981, after graduating from University of Queensland. He has worked in both Queensland and Western Australia both as a sole practitioner and for Queensland government works department and other private practices. He is currently a director and principal design architect of F3 Design Architecture. He is currently a RAIA Level 1 member and registered with the Board of Architects of Queensland. Michael has particular interests in environmentally sustainable building materials and systems and affordable housing.
Maxwell Dunn, who has also worked for a large project management firm, has extensive experience in design and drafting, CAD systems, and in the co ordination of architectural documentation, consultants and processes. Max has worked on numerous commercial and multi-residential projects, also “grouped housing” and “gated communities”. Max’s experience over recent years has incorporated a thorough knowledge of budgeting and estimating. He has extensive experience with client/consultant/local government liaison, design and documentation, building codes and standards interpretation & estimation.
Allan Keillor has been a registered architect for 20+ years, working for large national architectural practices as well as having his own medium-sized practice in cairns. Allan has considerable experience in residential, commercial, health and government projects as well as a professional interest in environmentally sustainable building materials and systems and affordable housing.
SUPPORT STAFF:
Matthew Petersen and Jannica Roxburgh, CAD drafting, design and documentation staff, have been working with F3 Design Architecture since the company started in 2004. They provide the documentation and technical experience necessary to bring the designs to working drawings and building contract on time and on budget. Matthew and Jannica have experience in computer-generated marketing drawings, interactive cds and brochures, including fly-through and fly-around movies and realistic images of internal and external elements.
Pam Maxwell is our office manager and part time draftsperson. Pam takes care of our job schedules, accounts and reception duties. Pam also ensures that our work is completed on time and on budget. Pam is currently working on our registration for quality assurance to allow us to tender on government and corporate projects.
Gerard O’Connor is a part-time subcontract CAD drafting associate who is also a professional artist and TAFE lecturer in presentation graphics. Gerard can produce freehand perspective sketches based on 3-dimensional building models produced in Archicad. Gerard is currently based in our Maleny office at 6 Coral Street, Maleny.
Michael Lennie, another subcontract CAD drafting associate, is highly skilled in computer modeling, especially in the production of coloured marketing drawings and brochures and computer-generated virtual tours and 3D perspective drawings. Michael has lived in Maleny for the past 10 years and works for a number of prominent architects and developers in the marketing area.
