Two new motor vehicle dealerships within 100 metres of each other in Maroochydore provided several design and construction challenges. Numerous underground services, including a sewerage main and the proximity to a motorway and electricity substation were just some of the problems overcome by the designers. The client was extremely involved in all phases of the design right down to the office furniture. Both buildings have become local landmarks, with the Holden showroom winning an award for commercial buildings at the 2006 Master Builders Awards.
